You can be very creative and create interesting transitions from the wood flooring to the tile. Certain premade tile patterns are perfect for cutting and fitting between surfaces.
You will want to make sure that you select a grout color that compliments the wood floor and the tile floor. Take stock of all the colors involved between the wood flooring and the tile flooring and choose a grout color that is asthetically pleasing and that helps the entire transition. Create continuity between the adjacent surfaces.
